Dergi Hakkında

International Journal of Educational Methodology (IJEM) is an open access, peer reviewed, online academic research journal. IJEM aims to provide a forum for original and theoretical studies in education.

The journal publishes fully refereed papers which cover applied and theoretical approaches to the study of education. Papers should constitute original research, and should be methodologically sound, theoretically informed and of relevance to an international audience. The journal is particularly interested in research that aims to inform educational practice(s) within and/or across sectors.

IJEM is published online twice in every May and November in a year.

All published articles are also being archived in our second server database and available for access.

All content of IJEM is subjected to peer-review and all articles published in IJEM have undergone rigorous peer review (double blind peer review), by members of the editorial board and review panel.

This journal is a serial publication uniquely identified by an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN: 2469-9632) serial number certificate issued by Library of Congress, U.S. ISSN Center. All the research works are uniquely identified by a CrossRef DOI digital object identifier supplied by indexing and repository platforms.

All the research works published on this journal are meeting the "Eurasian Society of Educational Research" requirements and can be freely accessed, shared, modified, distributed and used in educational, commercial and non-commercial purposes under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Papers should attempt to present research, innovative theoretical and/or practical insights in relevant current literature and debate. Papers should include full title, a short title for use as a running head, author name(s), institution and email address of corresponding author. The editors would not expect any page limit. Submitted papers should only be in English.

Page style: Articles should be typed in 12-point font on A4 page, paginated and double-spaced. Margins should be set as top & bottom: 2,5 cm and left & right 2,5 cm. The title should be followed by an abstract of 150-250 words and 3 to 5 keywords. Footnotes should be avoided and endnotes kept to a minimum. All pages should be numbered. References should follow American Psychological (APA) (Sixth Edition) style.

Paper template: Author(s) might use this template for their paper(s) (click the icon to download, and edit the template).

Tables and captions to illustrations: Tables must be typed out on the same document. Tables and figures should be numbered. The approximate position of tables and figures should be indicated in the paper. Captions should include keys to symbols.

Figures: All diagrams and photographs are termed "Figures" and should be numbered consecutively. Figures should be given short descriptive captions.

Authors should be aware that they are addressing an international audience. Articles should be in English and present original work, where appropriate should acknowledge any significant contribution by others, and should not have been accepted for publication elsewhere. As an author, you are required to secure permission if you want to reproduce any figure, table, or extract from the text of another source. This applies to direct reproduction as well as "derivative reproduction" (where you have created a new figure or table which derives substantially from a copyrighted source).
